This first post is not about us but about the artist of our logo, Kevin Trask.
We believe that it is important to give credit where credit is due!
Kevin Trask
Kevin, was born and raised in Ashtabula, Ohio. He lived and rode his bike around this beautiful area for many years until he moved out west. Today, he lives and works in the entertainment capital of the world, Las Vegas, Nevada! From early on in his childhood, he demonstrated an ability in drawing and other arts.
We contacted Kevin, a good friend of our family, to do a logo for a different business out west. The results where so impressive that when we started this new venture we knew exactly who to call. After several drafts and many update requests, Kevin gave our vision and ideas the look we had dreamed of. Contributing invaluable insight and design expertise, he was patient with us and went through many changes giving our logo the attention that only a true friend and artist could give.
According to the US Trademark & Patent Office our "mark consists of a bicycle on a beach near water with a lighthouse, rocks, and sunset sky with 3 birds wrapped around a tire with the name around tire top: On The Lake, bottom: Electric Bike Company". To us it is much more than that!
The spirit of our logo encompasses the freedom to Explore Your Outdoors!
Our electric bicycles and mobility scooters enable and assist you to conveniently enjoy the scenery of this beautiful area. The lighthouse is a beacon of hope that shines the way to many adventures to enjoy. The sand & rocks show how you may access any terrain with ease. The reflection on the water reminds us of the peace and tranquility experienced when we go outside and liberate ourselves from the confinement of walls. The birds are there as witnesses to your adventures. The wheel propels you forward to the "right" way. The sunset is the eternal reminder that the sun will shine again tomorrow giving the opportunity of another day full of happiness, peace, and joy.
